Eric Stewart, ASA, MAAA
Senior Consulting Actuary
Eric joined ARC in 2007 and as a consulting actuary, he is committed to serving ARC’s clients and help them overcome today’s challenges. Prior to joining ARC, Eric spent over 7 years in various roles within insurance companies and a large consulting firm. His experience covers multiple Actuarial tasks including product development, financial reporting, auditing, risk management, and Actuarial model implementation, governance, and the supporting end-to-end processes.
Eric’s diverse background and experience allow him the opportunity to work with several of ARC’s clients, both US and international, on a wide range of projects. His recent experience includes projects related to US GAAP Long Duration Targeted Improvements, VM-21, IFRS 17, asset/liability models, and model governance frameworks. He also enjoys pursuing his interest in advanced techniques for ALM and Nested Stochastic processes.
Eric possesses a strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude. In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and attending sporting and music events. He also enjoys snow skiing, mountain biking, and traveling to new destinations.
